Get To Know Glebe

Hipster-bohemia meets academia in Glebe, one of Sydney’s favorite inner-city suburbs. Here, leafy streets and stunning heritage architecture set the stage for a bustling scene that plays out along Glebe Point Road (GPR to the locals). Cafes, restaurants and pubs sit alongside quirky shops, bookstores and weekend markets that draw colorful crowds.

Highlights of this ultra-hip neighborhood include The Boathouse (fresh local seafood), the Little Guy (craft beers with the locals), La Banette (afternoon pastries) and Gleebooks (Sydney’s best bookstore). Tucked amid the coffee shops, vintage stores and massage studios, you’ll find Bicentennial Park, an urban oasis of playgrounds and playing fields overlooking Blackwattle Bay.
